Fannie (Grici) Pizzi, 95, of Franklin , passed away peacefully October 31 at Milford Regional Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Mario E. Pizzi who died in 2001.
Born in Franklin, October 22, 1926, the daughter of the late Joseph and Carmela (Grieco) Grici, Fannie was a lifelong Franklin resident.
Mother of the late Paul Pizzi , she is survived by her daughter Jo-Ann Cleary and her husband Rick of Franklin.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kevin and Keith Cleary of Franklin, Michael Pizzi of Wrentham, Rachel Kalalas and her husband Chris of Norton, Gina Tvelia and her husband Ryan of South Carolina and Amy Cleary Kitchen and her great-grandchildren, Vincent Kalalas, Gianni and Santino Tvelia. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law Jean Pizzi of Wrentham.
Fannie is also survived by many nieces and nephews, especially her niece Linda Simarrian and her best friend Rose Carlucci.
She was the sister of the late Lou, Don, and Herb Grici, Kay Niedbala, Virginia Dellorco and Dolly Lomberto.
A visitation hour will be held on Thursday, November 4 in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin from 10:00-11:00 a.m.
Burial will be private.
