Patricia “Lynn” Wood Herebia, 50, of Tifton passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 6, 2021, at Barnes Chapel in Enigma with the Rev. James Irions officiating. Mrs. Herebia will be laid to rest at a later date. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at Barnes Chapel in Enigma from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
Born December 15, 1970, in Tifton, Mrs. Herebia was the daughter of the late Elbert Wood and Patricia Nellie Gray Wirebaugh. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Elbert Lee “Bert” Wood. She was employed with Diversified Enterprises in Tifton and she was a member of Barnes Chapel in Enigma. She enjoyed fishing.
Mrs. Herbia is survived by her husband, Encarnacion “Jay” Herebia of Tifton; two daughters, Elizabeth Herebia and Nicholas Carter of Nashville and Jessica McKenzie Herebia and Devin Parris of Tifton; one brother, Wayne Wood of Indiana; three sisters, Michell Franklin and Dawn Guy, both of Enigma and Cheri Ward of Indiana; three grandchildren, Marissa Carter, Alazai Carter and Malcolm Carter; and several nieces and nephews.
