Leonardo Coronel-Mejia, 39, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Friday, October 29, 2021, at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald, Georgia.
A Rosary service will be held at 4 PM, Wednesday, November 3, 2021 as well as at 4 PM, Thursday, November 4, 2021, at The Paulk Funeral Home in Fitzgerald. Interment will follow at a later date in Maravatio, Michoacan, Mexico.
Leonardo was born October 28, 1982, in Michoacan, Mexico, to the late Leonardo Coronel-Nunez and the late Maria Dolores Mejia-Miranda. He worked in construction most of his life. He was of the Catholic faith.
He is survived by his daughters: Samantha Coronel and Alexa Coronel along with his partner, Alma Dominguez. He is also survived by 13 brothers and sisters: Gilberto Coronel, Juan Coronel, Mario Coronel, Maria Coronel, Susana Coronel, Maria Dolores Coronel, Ana Coronel, Teresa Coronel, Elvira Coronel, Maria Delaluz Coronel, Elva Coronel, Maria Delos Angeles Coronel, and Amalia Coronel.
