Gloria Theresa (Girondi) Pinto, age 92, of Medford passed away on Sunday, October 31st, at Melrose/Wakefield Hospital. Born and raised in Chicago, she was the daughter of the late Rocco and Emily (Paris) Girondi. Gloria enjoyed playing bingo, word-searches and reading. She was sassy, and loved her family and Jesus.
Gloria was the beloved wife of the late Paul A. Pinto and the devoted mother of Roseanna Ambrose and her husband Bruce of Somerville, Roberta Marquis and her husband Douglas of Haverhill, Evelyn Pinto of Somerville, Theresa DelMonaco of Bedford and her late husband Pasquale, Paul Pinto Jr. of Medford, and the late John Pinto. She was the loving grandmother of Andrew, Christine, AnnMarie, Dawn, Anita, Laurie, James, Hannah, Gloria, Paula, Teila, Vincent, Michael and Evelina. Gloria was the great grandmother of 16 and the great great grandmother of ten. She was the dear sister of Judith Esposito of Florida, Evelyn Spitzer of Chicago, Margaret Girondi of Pepperell, and the late Frank Girondi, and the sister-in-law of Rosemarie, Margaret, Joseph, Helen and five late brothers- and sisters-in-law. Gloria is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and additional family members.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Saturday, November 13th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday, November 12th, from 4 through 8 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent in Gloria’s name to a charity of One's choice.
