Judy Darlene Jackson Funderburk, 69, of Tifton passed away Saturday, October 30, 2021, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 3, 2021, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with Elder Phillip Nichols officiating. Mrs. Funderburk will be laid to rest at Salem Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
Mike Stone, Timmy Tanner, Harley Funderburk, Jamie Gordon, Anthony Funderburk and Caleb Funderburk will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Funderburk and Jerry Funderburk.
Born April 1, 1952, in Tifton, Mrs. Funderburk was the daughter of the late Silas Jackson and Bula Mae Peacock Jackson. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Robbie Jackson and Bobby Jackson; one brother, Danny Jackson; one sister, Peggy Jackson; and her three beloved dogs. She was a retired homemaker and a loving, devoted wife. She loved her family; she loved flowers and working in her yard; and she loved to fish.
Mrs. Funderburk leaves behind her loving husband of 29 years, James Funderburk of Tifton; several brothers and sisters-in-law; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Lisa Stevens of Enigma; a cousin, Linda Jackson of Stockton; a beloved aunt, Corine Williams; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
