Christine S. “Chrissy" (Bierbaum) Hammel, 45, of East Bridgewater, MA passed away peacefully on October 28, 2021 at Boston Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
Born in Stoughton, she was raised in East Bridgewater where she also attended public school.
She is the daughter of Michael and Waltraud (Boras) Bierbaum. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son, Jason Hammel of East Bridgewater, her brothers Peter Bierbaum and partner Gail Robinson of Bridgewater, George Bierbaum and partner Marge Parker of New Hampshire, and her sister Karen Rogers and her husband Tom Rogers of East Bridgewater. She is also sister of the late Brigitte and Fred Bierbaum.
Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 2:00-4:00 at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary), Whitman, MA. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend. Burial will be private in the Northville Cemetery, East Bridgewater.
