WORCESTER___Michalina M. (Piasecki) Kowalczyk, Kaderis, 95, died Friday, April 14 in Autumn Village Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She leaves two daughters, Patricia A. wife of Frank P. Statkus of Shrewsbury and Judith M. wife of Bruce Costello of Auburn; 7 grandchildren, Marie H. Berardi of Grafton; Deborah A. Statkus of Worcester; Stephen Statkus of Chicago, Illinois; Michael P and Mark Costello of Auburn; Brian R. and Kenneth Kowalczyk of Worcester; 6 great grand children, Ashley R. and Madison T. Berardi, Kathleen, Michael, Alexander and Tyler Kowalczyk and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her first husband Stanley A. Kowalczyk, her second husband, Frank W. Kaderis, a brother Andrew H. Pisecki, a son, Robert M. Kowalczyk and a daughter, Elizabeth M. Kowalczyk. She was born in Jersey City, New Jersey daughter of Philip and Mary (Pawelek) Piasecki and lived in Worcester most of her life.
Mrs. Kaderis was a homemaker and a longtime member of St. John’s Church. She also was a member of the American Association of Retired Persons, Chapter 209 and the Aid Center R.S.V.P. of Worcester.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 18 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. John’s Church, 40 Temple St. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. A calling hour will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to The Restoration Fund of St. John’s Church, 44 Temple St. Worcester, MA 01604.
