Thomas L. Gentili, 82, of Franklin, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 29, 2021 at Milford Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Jean (Tomasso) Gentili.
Born in Milford on May 11, 1939, he was the son of the late John and Anna (Pasquantonio) Gentili.
Thomas was a lifelong resident of Franklin. He graduated from Franklin High School, Dean College, Wentworth University and earned his Master’s Degree from the University of Denver.
Before his retirement, Thomas owned Gentili Associates where he was a public insurance adjuster for most of his life.
Thomas was known for his witty personality and loved playing practical jokes. He could be found driving too fast around Franklin, at the Dunkin drive-thru or reading southwest art magazines. He loved spending time at the Cape, and most importantly with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Alisa Gentili Williams and her husband Brian of Newtown, Connecticut, his son Jason Gentili and his wife Charlene of North Attleboro and his grandchildren Cooper, Beckett, Alexander and Benjamin.
He was brother to the late John “Jack” Gentili and is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral mass on Wednesday, November 3 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church in Franklin. Burial will follow at the parish cemetery.
