Robert R. Theriault

LOWELL: Robert R. “Bob” Theriault, age 66, of Lowell, passed away suddenly at Tufts Medical Center in Boston on Sunday, October 24, 2021, surrounded by his family.

He was the beloved husband of Gail A. (Pollinger) Theriault, with whom he shared 40 years of marriage.

Born in Lowell on October 3, 1955, he was the son of the late Walter J. Theriault, Jr. and the late Doris Y. (Thibeault) Theriault. He was predeceased by his brother, Ronald Theriault, his father-in-law, Robert J. Pollinger, brother-in-law, Donald Pollinger, and special friend, Eleanor Kalem.

Robert was raised in Tewksbury, attended Tewksbury schools and graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School with the Class of 1973.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the Carpenters Union, Local # 111, where he worked for 31 years.

In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking, puttering around his home, and assisting his children with their home renovation projects. In addition, he loved vacationing at Newfound Lake in New Hampshire as well as at Lake Champlain in Vermont.

Bob’s greatest enjoyment came from sharing his time with his wife, children and grandchildren.

During his life, Bob gave tirelessly of himself. As a registered organ donor, Bob’s selfless spirit will live on in the many individuals and families he has helped through his gift of organ donation.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Bobby and Leigha Theriault of Pelham, NH, Stacy (Theriault) and Johnny Sullivan of Townsend, MA and Stephanie (Theriault) and Sean Simpson of Milford, NH: his grandchildren, Tyler, Hannah, Kaisley, and Camden: a special sister, Diane (Zee) Theriault: sister-in-law, Lorraine Theriault: best friend, Bill Joyce: and many nieces, nephews, and close friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held for close family and friends on Friday, November 5, 2021 at the Village Inn in Dracut, MA from 12:00pm-4:00pm.
