Obituary

SPENCER: Gloria A. (Schofield) Latino, 55, of Spencer, died Monday, October 25 at UMASS Memorial Hospital in Worcester after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.
She leaves her son Trevor M. Latino of Spencer, her parents, Alden and Gloria (Casillo) Schofield of Worcester, her sister Karen Spiteals and her husband Michael of West Newton. She was predeceased by her brother Brian Schofield. Born in Worcester, she was a graduate of Doherty Memorial High School. She worked at Velocity Networks Inc. in Auburn for 19 years. She was a hardworking mother always striving to ensure a good life for her son Trevor. She enjoyed leisure time by the lake with close friends. Gloria was a very loyal and kind person with a deep love for animals rescuing them when she was able. She was a member of Mary Queen of the Rosary Parish.
A memorial funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 3rd at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Spencer. A reception will follow in the parish hall. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Second Chance Animal Services, P.O. Box 136, East Brookfield, MA 01515. J.
