Obituary

TEWKSBURY: Ronald A. Archiprete, age 66, a resident of Tewksbury for 34 years, died suddenly on Thursday, April 13, 2006 at Saints Memorial Medical Center in Lowell.
He was the husband of Diane M. (Silva) Archiprete, with whom he would have celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on October 14th.
Born in East Cambridge on June 6, 1939, he was the son of Esther (McCarthy) Archiprete, who survives him, of Stoneham and the late Joseph Archiprete.
Mr. Archiprete was raised in East Cambridge.
He attended Sacred Heart Grammar school and graduated from Rindge Technical High School in 1959.
Mr. Archiprete lived in Malden until moving to Tewksbury in 1972.
Prior to his retirement in 2000, he was employed as an electrician foreman by the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority, Local # 103, I.B.E.W., where he worked for 28 years.
Mr. Archiprete was a communicant of St. William’s Church of Tewksbury.
According to his family, he was an avid Boston sports fan.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law; Doreen M. and John A. Curseaden, Cheryl A. Archiprete and Debby J. and Wayne G. Benson all of Tewksbury; three grandchildren; Zachary Curseaden, Brittany Benson and Wayne Benson, Jr; four brothers; two sisters; his sister-in-law; Lynda DeCarlo of Tewksbury; also many nieces and nephews including Joshua DeCarlo of Tewksbury.
Calling hours Monday, April 17th, from 4-8 p.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Funeral Tuesday, April 18th at 9 a.m. from the funeral home. Funeral Mass Tuesday, April 18th, at 10 a.m., at St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Interment at Tewksbury Cemetery.
