Obituary

Pastor Herbert Aaron Malloy Jr., was a beloved child of God, born on December 9, 1948, in Rocky Point, North Carolina, to the union of the late Herbert Malloy Sr., and Doris Pope Malloy

Pastor Herbert Malloy graduated from C.S. Brown High School in Winston - Salem, North Carolina. He attended North Carolina A&T in 1968, where he played Collegiate Football. Shortly afterwards he was drafted by the Boston Patriots and moved to Boston, Massachusetts.

He worked for many years as an owner and operator of a tractor trailer company and numerous businesses. During that time he became a Minister and then Pastor.

In 1978 Herbert, at the age of 29, married Shirley Robinson. Out of this union, three children were born

He leaves to mourn formal spouse Shirley Robinson- Malloy, three children, Precious Malloy Rosario, Aaron, and Chad Malloy, all of Boston, Ma; three grandchildren: NaCaira Hill- Malloy, Ian and Noah Rosario, all of Boston, Ma; sister Patricia Malloy, brother Samuel Malloy all of Washington, D.C., niece Tosha Link of Washington, D.C., nephews: Sheldon, Michael, Chris Malloy all of Washington, D.C., Great Nephews, Tyler Link of Washington, D.C., Jaylen, Jerrel, Javon Price of Hyattsville, Maryland. Great Niece Kendal Musgrove of Brandywine, MD. Aunt Doris Boykins of Rocky Point, NC, Aunt Ida Mae Harris of Wilmington, NC. He leaves a many cousins and friends.

Viewing hours will be November 8, 2021 from 10-11 AM followed by a Service from 11-12:30 PM in St. John Missionary Baptist Church located at 230 Warren Street Roxbury, Ma. Burial will be immediately following in Oaklawn Cemetery located at 427 Cummins Highway, Roslindale , Ma.
