Lorraine C. (Moreau) Polverini, age 70, passed away on Oct. 24, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was born on July 7, 1951 in Springfield, a daughter of the late Willie and Antoinette (Therrien) Moreau. Lorraine was a passionate employee at the Volleyball Hall of Fame in Holyoke for many years until she retired. She is survived by her beloved son Kevin Polverini and his wife Sara of Chicopee; her daughter Michelle Chase and her husband Christopher of Windsor Locks, CT; one sister Jeannette “Jean” Blood of Springfield; four beloved grandchildren, Michael Morgan Jr. and his wife Megan, Clayton Morgan, Griffin Polverini and Giulia Polverini along with two great grandchildren, Colton and Cheyenne. She is predeceased by her brother Romeo Moreau. Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 1, 2021 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee. A private graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 2, at 11:00 AM in St Rose de Lima Cemetery, Chicopee.
