Barbara J. Daley

TEWKSBURY: Barbara J. Daley, R.N., age 84, of Tewksbury, passed away October 25, 2021, due to Covid complications.
She was the daughter of the late Robertson and Jennie (McAllister) Daley.
Barbara was born in Boston on March 4, 1937. She and her family moved to Tewksbury in 1946.
She was a graduate of Tewksbury High School and the Lowell General Hospital School of Nursing. Barbara was also a graduate of Boston University with a bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
Barbara was employed by the Greater Lowell Visiting Nurse Association (Circle Health) until her retirement in 1997.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in North Tewksbury as well as a member of the Tewksbury Golden Age Club and the Tewksbury Emblem Club.
In her spare time, Barbara enjoyed crocheting and quilt making which she donated to local charities. She will also be remembered for her chocolate chip coffee cakes.
Barbara is survived by her brothers, Frank (Jackie) of Amherst, NH, Robert (Doris) of Nashua, NH, Lawrence (Patricia) of Tewksbury, Daniel of Wilton, NH, James and Roger both of Tewksbury: sisters, Dorothy Tynan (Richard) of Hooksett, NH, Linda Gagne of Allentown, NH, Jeanette Rudnicki of Brockton and Eileen Daley of Tewksbury. She also leaves her nieces and nephews, Kevin, Edward, and Scott Daley, Frank Tynan, Barbara Cameron, Thomas Rudnicki, Elizabeth Cordeiro: great nephews, Hunter Daley, Matthew and Ryan Cordeiro, Andrew Cameron and Sam Ros.
She was pre-deceased by her parents, her sister, Eleanor Daley, and her nephew, John Tynan.
Calling hours are Friday, Oct. 29, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury, followed by her funeral service to be held at the First Baptist Church, 1500 Andover St., Rte. 133, Tewksbury. Services will conclude at Tewksbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations honoring her memory may be made to the First Baptist Church, 1500 Andover St., Tewksbury, MA 01876 or to the Tewksbury Community Pantry, 999 Whipple Rd., Tewksbury, MA 01876.
