Obituary

Leslie Stephen Dewar, 80, passed away suddenly at home, doing what he
loved, fixing things.
Stephen was born and raised in Winchester, MA. After leaving high school, he joined the Navy,
where he served for four years. Stephen was a very talented mechanic and carpenter, who always had projects he was working on. He loved any project that involved cars, building or otherwise, and also prided himself on finding a great deal, especially on travel.
Stephen loved his friends and family, and is survived by his wife, Mary F. Dewar, his daughters, Gwen Dionne, Cheryl Catavolo, Lisa Morgan, Kellie Dewar, and his son Stephen Michael Dewar. He had 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, and was predeceased by his Father, John, his Mother, Jane, his brother John, and his sister Lorraine (Tilly).
Stephen will be missed by all who loved him. Those closest to him are celebrating his life by remembering the way he showed his love and his sense of humor.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Stephen’s memory can be made to the Beaverbrook STEP, Inc., The Walnut Center (wscinc.org) or the Special Olympics.
