Kenneth L. Mays, 56 of Dorchester, Massachusetts, passed away at home on October 19, 2021. Kenneth was born in Boston, Massachusetts to Costella and Billy Mays on June 28, 1965. Kenneth graduated from Boston Technical High School, and he attended Northeastern University, both located in Boston.
Kenneth made a career that he loved with the Boston Fire Department, starting as a firefighter, and then moved into the administrative offices working in the Details Office.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his brother William Mays and his father Billy Mays. He is survived by his mother, sister, niece, nephew, aunts and uncles. He also leaves a host of cousins, and extended family, friends, along with his brothers and sisters of the Boston Fire Department.
Visitation will be on November 6, 2021 from 10 am to 11 am at Joseph Russo Funeral Home, located at 814 American Legion Hwy Roslindale, MA. Immediately following the visitation will be the Funeral Services from 11 am to 12 pm, with John Ryan officiating.
After the funeral services, we will proceed to Oaklawn Cemetery for burial.

Viewing Hour will be Saturday November 6, 2021 from 10-11 AM, Service will be from 11-12 PM in the Joseph Russo Funeral Home Located at 814 American Legion Highway, Roslindale, Ma. Burial will be immediately following the service in Oaklawn Cemetery located at 427 Cummins Highway, Roslindale.
