Ellen M. (Kara) Lewis, 61, of Tewksbury, passed away peacefully after a long illness in her sleep on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. She is survived by her husband, James E. Lewis, with whom she shared the last thirty two years of marriage. She is also survived by her four children - Aimee, Matthew, Allyson, and Robby.
She was born in Yonkers, NY on August 21, 1960, and was a daughter of the late Al and Eleanor Kara. She was raised in a military family and educated all over the country. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Tewksbury.
Her memorial service will take place at a later date.
