Henry J Molloy Jr., 77, of Margate FL and former resident of Boston MA passed away on September 25, 2021 in Florida.
Beloved son of Henry and Anne Molloy, brother of Peter Molloy and his wife Camille of Franklin MA, Judith Rutledge and her late husband Michael of FL, Katherine Seminara and her husband Anthony of Maryland, Susan Edmunds of Wrentham and his nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Henry was a retired employee of the City of Boston and also worked at General Dynamics in Quincy.
He was an avid Red Sox fan and loved following all Boston sport teams.
Henry loved gardening and working in his yard. His love of animals and his pets were the focus of his life.
He worked as a volunteer for the animal shelter, and had been known to break into hot cars to save a dog.
He was a volunteer for the Coral Cay Community library and was the head librarian. He loved literature and working with books.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life Mass on Saturday; November 6th 9:30am in St. Margaret Mary 145 High St. Westwood MA, burial will follow in Westwood Cemetery.
The family would like to thank his friends who were like family to him in Florida.
