Miranda Mitchell Helms, 42, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Sunday, October 24, 2021, at Navicent Health in Macon, Georgia.
Graveside services will be held 4 PM, Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at Evergreen Cemetery, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Don Dixon officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, from 6 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Helms was born October 17, 1979, in Coffee County, Georgia, to Lynn Walker Mitchell & the late J.W. Mitchell, Jr. She was a homemaker, loved the beach, especially Daytona and she enjoyed watching Lifetime movies. Nothing gave Miranda greater joy than taking care of her husband and her mother.
She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Frank “Sparky” Helms of Fitzgerald and her mother, Lynn Walker Mitchell of Fitzgerald. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Alexis Helms and a sister Lacey J. Martin.
