Mary Branch Nelson, 78, of Tifton passed away Sunday, October 24, 2021, in Ashburn. A graveside funeral service will be held for Ms. Nelson at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at Oak Ridge Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest. The Rev. Earl Perry will officiate.
Born September 27, 1943, in Tift County, Ms. Nelson was the daughter of the late Harold “Buddy” Branch and Louise Conner Branch. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Gene Branch. She graduated from Tift County High School and, before retiring, she was the owner of Nelson Printing Company in Tifton from 1978-2000.
Ms. Nelson is survived one son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Nancy Nelson of Tifton; one grandson, Michael Nelson; cousins, Connie McGarin, Debbie Sirmans Lindsey and Cindy Hall; a niece, Michelle Branch Moore; and a nephew, Hal Branch.
