Virginia Taylor Cottle, 83, of Tifton passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Satilla Bluff Senior Care in Blackshear. A graveside funeral service will be held for Mrs. Cottle at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at Ty Ty First Baptist Church Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest. The Rev. Rodney Owens will officiate.
Born January 15, 1938, in Tifton, Mrs. Cottle was the daughter of the late Everett Taylor and Mary Lou Richardson Taylor. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Hendricks Cottle, Sr. and one sister, Jackie Ross. She was a homemaker and a member of Ty Ty First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Cottle is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Don and Shari Cottle of Cartersville; one daughter and son-in-law, Angie and Howard Meadows of Blackshear; one brother, James Everett Taylor, Jr. of Ocala, Florida; two sisters, Anna Carter of Tifton and Grace Holloway of Macon; and four grandchildren, Morgan Meadows, Taylor Meadows, Haley Cottle Hood and Logan Thomas Cottle.
