Loretta L. (LaCapria) Lennon passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday October 20th. She was 88. Raised in Medford, Loretta was the daughter of the late Elmo and Susan (Marotta) LaCapria. Loretta was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. For many years she worked as the office manager of Erickson Fuel of Medford. She enjoyed bowling and bingo and spending time with her family and friends. She loved to cook and looked forward to the holidays and serving delicious meals to all who gathered at her table.
The beloved wife of the late Joseph R. Lennon who passed away in 1985, Loretta was a devoted mother to Cindy Grondin and her husband Scott of Medford and the late Susan Lennon. Loretta leaves her loving grandson Tyler Grondin of Medford and her brother Richard LaCapria of Florida. She is predeceased by her brother William LaCapria and sister Carol Colangelo.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main Street, Medford on Wednesday, October 27th from 4 – 7 PM and again on Thursday morning at 10 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
