Dolores (Jardin) Gendron, 90, of Fairhaven, formerly of New Bedford, died Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Alden Court after a period of declining health.
Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Manuel and Ermelinda (Neves) Jardin, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life.
The best years of her working life were the 20 years she was employed at Almac's Supermarket until her retirement. Prior to that she was employed as a stitcher at New Bedford Manufacturing Company for many years. She enjoyed cooking and traveling.
Dolores held dear to her heart her beloved family and memories, both past and present, taking great pride in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed being a member of the Jardin Twenty Cousins Club.
She is survived by her three daughters, Janice Menard and her husband Richard, Jacqueline DeTerra and her husband Lenny, and Patricia Perry and her husband Ted; her brother, Richard Jardin and his wife Lucille; 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and a large extended family.
