Obituary

LEICESTER: Robert B. Daigle, 84, of Pine Street, died Wednesday, October 20 in his daughter's home in East Brookfield after an illness.
He leaves two daughters; Nancy G Wood and her husband Kenneth of East Brookfield and Lana L. Lloyd and her husband Steven of Leicester, five grandchildren; Jennifer, Melissa, Sarah, Jeremy & Emily, five great grandchildren; Dylan, Hayden, Alyson, Lauren and Maddison, a great great grandson Cohan, a brother Richard Daigle and his companion Marilyn of Sturbridge and his hunting partner and longtime friend Pete Delia. He was predeceased by a son Darin Daigle, a grandson Ron Daigle and his longtime companion Patricia Lawler.
Robert was born in Maynard, son of Wilfred F. and Evelyn K. (Silver) Daigle. He served his country in the United States Army. He was a Captain at the Worcester County House of Corrections for many years before retiring. He enjoyed reading, hunting and antiquing especially at the Brimfield flea market which he attended yearly. He absolutely adored his daughter's dogs Honeybell and Molly. He was a member of the Cherry Valley American Legion and a former member of the Elks Club. He rode with the Blue Knights many years ago.
At Robert's request funeral services and burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Leicester are private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Veterans Inc., 69 Grove Street, Worcester, MA 01605. MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main Street, Leicester is directing funeral arrangements.
