William J. Cronin Sr., of Medford, October 21st, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Christina L. (Rousay) Cronin. Father of William J. Cronin Jr. and his wife Deanna of Tewksbury, Daniel W. Cronin and his partner Kim of Everett, Christina Yanakopulos and her late husband James of Medford, Debra DelPonte and her husband Robert of Tewksbury, Bridget O’Brien and her husband Mark of Bradford and Glenn T. Cronin and his wife Jeanne of Tewskbury. Brother of the late Joseph, Dennis and John Cronin, Margaret Carlin, Josephine Moriarty and Genevieve Brawley. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Bill has been a lifelong resident of Medford. He is a graduate of St. Clement Grammar School and St. Clement High School. For many years, he worked at the Metropolitan Furniture Company in the shipping and receiving department. Later in life, he started his own transportation and moving company called “Cronin & Son”. First and foremost, Bill was a family man who enjoyed the company of his family and friends. Relatives & friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden on Wednesday October 27th from 10 AM to 12 PM followed by services and interment at Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
