Corey J. Black, age 60, passed away on October 18, 2021 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born on September 21, 1961 in Holyoke, a son of the late Donald Trudell and Elaine (Galarneau) Decoteau. He was predeceased by his sister Diane Trudell. Corey worked as an accountant for Poly Metal Finishing for many years before he retired. He is survived by his sister Tina Henry and her husband Brian of Chicopee along with his nieces and nephews, Neill Henry and his wife Alaina, Erik Henry, Julee Montemagni and her husband Tony, and Nicholas Trudell. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 30, 2021 at 10:00 AM in the Pioneer Valley Baptist Chapel, Chicopee followed by burial in Fairview Cemetery. The Grise Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
