WORCESTER__ Genowefa (Biczewska) Kopacz, 92, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 in her home, surrounded by her loving family. Her husband, Marian Kopacz passed away in 1987.
She is survived by her children, Miroslaw Kopacz and his wife Elzbieta, Teresa Nowak, Danuta Staszczak and her husband Andrzej, and Josephine Lee; her sister, Janina Siwko and her husband Erik; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her siblings, Regina Schaumkessel and Antoni Biczewski.
Mrs. Kopacz was born in Krawcowicze, Poland to the late Zygmunt and Jadwiga (Mazuro) Biczewski. She worked as a seamstress in Poland.
Calling hours will be held on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 22, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street, Worcester. The Funeral Mass will be held on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 23, 2021 at 10:00 AM in OUR LADY OF CZESTOCHOWA CHURCH, 34 Ward Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery.
