Donna K. Shelton (Turner) entered eternal rest on October 11th, 2021, at her home in Ventura. She will be missed immensely by her beloved family and friends.
Donna was born in Ventura, California, on October 28, 1947, to parents H. Keith and Vivian Turner, the youngest of the family with older brothers Fred and Tom Turner. Donna was Honor Queen of Job's Daughters Bethel 89 in 1965. After graduating from Buena High School, she met and married Don Shelton, where they were married for 55 years.
Donna worked for many years as a civil servant for the Navy Seabees at the USNBC in Port Hueneme and retired from the Superior Court of Ventura County, having worked at Jury Services and Small Claims. Donna also liked to travel, having been to Ireland after retirement.
Donna loved spending time with her family for Sunday family dinners or Taco Tuesdays, especially her grandchildren whom she adored and enjoyed watching cooking shows, golf, and football, including her beloved Denver Broncos. Although her dream of a retirement filled with relaxation, travel, and more time with family will go unrealized, she got so much to enjoy living in her coveted role as Nana.
Donna is preceded in death by her father H. Keith Turner, mother Vivian Turner, brother Fred Turner, grandson Matthew Shelton. She is survived by her husband, Don, sons Justin & Steven, grandsons Nicklaus & Vincent, brother, Tom Turner, along with many family members and friends who will love and miss her forever.
