James “Jimmy” MacNamara, 49, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, passed away unexpectedly on October 18, 2021.
Memorial services will be held 4 PM, Friday, October 29, 2021, at the residence, 1135 Salem Church Road, Rochelle. The family will gather throughout the day for people to visit.
Jimmy was born in Wilmington, Delaware, to his parents, James & Jill MacNamara and Joanne Gilbert. Shortly after his birth they moved to Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, where Jimmy spent his childhood. Shortly after graduating from high school, he moved to Georgia where he built his life with his wife Toni and had two sons: Michael and Joey.
Jimmy will be greatly missed by his sons Michael (Jordan) MacNamara and Joey MacNamara and his grandchildren: Lyla and Roman. Jimmy is also survived by his parents: James MacNamara (Jill) and Joanne Gilbert; siblings: Angela, Danny (Paula), Heather (Jared), and Joseph as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and a brother, Thomas. Jimmy was truly loved by so many and will be greatly missed.
