Obituary

Richard S. Candeloro “Ritchie” , age 76, of Middleborough, Ma, formerly of Weymouth and Malden, MA., passed away on October 17, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Arlene F (Whittaker) Candeloro.
Born and raised in Malden, MA, Richard was the son of the late Caesar Candeloro and Rose ( Bezzatti) Candeloro.
Richard Candeloro was employed as a conductor with B&M Railroad and later with Amtrak Railroad up until his retirement.
Richard was a long time member of the Eagles Club of Malden, and was on both their softball and bowling leagues. He thoroughly loved watching sports, especially baseball and football with his family. He enjoyed gardening and cooking, especially recipes passed down to him. He loved playing cards and had a long-time coin collection.
In addition to his wife of 52 years, Arlene, Richard is lovingly survived by his children: Denise (Candeloro) Joyce and her husband Tim, of Laconia, NH, Debra (Candeloro) Carpenter and her husband James, of Concord, NH, Joseph Candeloro and his wife Dayna, of Staatsburg, New York, James Candeloro of Revere, MA and Charlene Candeloro of Taunton, MA. He was the dear grandfather of Cassidy Joyce, Baruch Candeloro, Chyanne (Joyce) Porter & her husband Harrison, Preston Carpenter, Benjamin Candeloro, Dustin Joyce, Bailey Candeloro, Cyvanna Joyce, Keara Carpenter, Briley Candeloro and Jovanni Candeloro. Cherished brother of Robert Candeloro, Diane Cenci, John Candeloro, Kenneth Candeloro, the late Sandra Nelson and Thomas Candeloro. Also survived by many nephews, nieces and their respective families. Funeral services are being held privately with family and close friends.
