Margarita Romero Ortega was born in Tulancingo Hidalgo Mexico on July 30, 1933. She was the daughter of Monico Romero and Guadalupe Ortega. Margarita was a fighter and tenacious woman. She lost the battle against Congestive Heart Failure and left this world on October 13, 2021, around 9:40pm at the age of 88.
She was married to the deceased Enrique Prieto Rubio with whom she had 2 daughters and one son.
Her daughter Guadalupe Prieto lived with her in Melrose Massachusetts since 2005 and his son Julio Enrique Prieto and Maura Norma Prieto are living in Mexico City.
Margarita was a very happy spirit and loved to sing and dance. She liked to make jokes to the family, and she loved to break the stress and bad mood with comments.
She enjoyed traveling and she continued to seek joy all the steps to the way until her last days on earth
Visitation will be held at the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Monday October 25th from 12:00pm-2:00pm. A service will be held at 1:30pm during the visitation. Family, friends and all the people that met her are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
