Lenard Henry Orbik, 89, of Anderson, passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021 peacefully in his sleep.
He was born on June 9, 1932 in South Bend, Indiana, the son of Stanley and Stella Orbik.
He worked for General Motors/ Delco Remy, retiring in 1981, after 31 years of employment. He attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Anderson and was a member of the Eagles Lodge and UAW 662. Lenard enjoyed camping and fishing in his leisure time.
Lenard is survived by a son, Danny (Darcy) Orbik of Anderson and two other children and several grandchildren; grandson, Travis Riddle of Anderson; great grandson, Dalton Riddle.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Rosalee (Reece) Orbik in 2013; daughter, Dixie Riddle in 2014; brother, Joe Orbik in 2021 and all his other siblings.
Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 1 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church with visitation one hour prior to the funeral at the church.
Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
