Obituary

Anna P. (Comunale) Tobasco, age 90, beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter, daughter in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on October 16th, 2021. Born and raised in East Boston, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Antoinette (Saviano) Comunale. Ann lived for many years in Medford before moving to Woburn later in life.

Ann's family was the most important thing to her, with her grandsons being the center of her universe. Ann and Frank traveled extensively, often with her siblings and their spouses, loving every moment of it. She was a fashion trend setter and had a successful career in retail sales. Having a keen eye, she dressed many in the top styles of the day. She was a true people person, a great friend and was always there to listen and lend a helping hand.

Ann was the beloved wife of Francis C "Frank" Tobasco and devoted mother of Lisa Tobasco and her late husband Chris Clark, Lori Tobasco, Lynda Tobasco-Whitty and her husband Bill Whitty. She was the loving grandmother of Alex and Ethan Green and Eric and Jake Whitty. Ann was the dear sister of the late Jim Comunale and his wife Mary, the late Rose Larson and her husband Fred and the late Connie and Dusty Moring. She is survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph's Church. 118 High St. Medford, on Monday, October 25th at 10am.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may pay their respects from 9:30 to 10am prior to the mass. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
