Obituary

Deion J. Taylor, 27, of Worcester died Monday, October 11th in UMass Hospital. He leaves his mother, Tenisha L. Mincey; his maternal grandparents, Everette and Dawn Crosby of Gardner; aunt, Sylvia Carrion and her husband, Edwin of Connecticut; great uncle, Michael Mincey of Gardner; and extended family and friends including Andrena Taylor and Brenda Varrs.
He was born in Worcester and attended Quinsigamond Community College. Deion enjoyed spending time in the woods, especially camping. In his younger years, Deion enjoyed being on the swim team; attending Camp Yawgoog, and the Ionic Avenue Boys Club. Deion was a kind and gentle soul who loved people and brought a smile to everyone he met.
A small intimate service will be privately held. A video of Deion's services will be available on Sunday on our website. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is assisting the family with services.
