Gerald William McCutcheon Sr., 78, of Derry, NH, passed away Monday October 11, 2021, at Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH. He was born on October 1, 1943, in Lowell, MA, a son of the late George W. and Rose (St. John) McCutcheon. Gerald worked as a janitor for the West Running Brook School in Derry for over 10 years, formerly working at Empire Linen in Lowell, MA. He was an avid fan of the SyFy channel and often spent time watching it with his granddaughter. He enjoyed watching football while enjoying a cold beer and the occasional cigarette. Gerald also enjoyed fishing and wrestling.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Judith (Butterfield) McCutcheon, two daughters and their husbands, Sharon and Matthew Bassett and Christine and Douglas Zukowski; his granddaughter, Alina Zukowski; one sister, Ida Richardson, as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was predeceased by his son Gerald McCutcheon Jr in 2018, as well as his three brothers, George McCutcheon, Richard McCutcheon and Arthur McCutcheon.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, private services will be held by the family at a later date.
