LACONIA ---- Ellen Moynihan, 80, of Union Ave died on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Laconia Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Ellen was born on June 7, 1941, in Boston, MA, the daughter of James and Estelle (Bublis) Moynihan of Belmont, MA.
Ellen was raised in Belmont, MA. She enjoyed living the latter half of her life in the Laconia, NH, area. Ellen was a lover of life and enjoyed outdoor activities, especially skiing and kayaking with her dog. She also spent many years traveling the world. Ellen’s favorite thing to do was taking trips with her friends to Foxwoods. In retirement, Ellen loved to frequent craft fairs, yard sales, and playing Bingo.
Ellen is survived by her sister Carol Nealon of Belmont, MA, four nieces and four nephews, and her brother-in-law James Simmons of Lynnfield, MA. Her predeceased family includes her parents, James E. and Estelle (Bublis) Moynihan of Belmont, MA, her brother James E. Moynihan Jr. and his wife Eileen of Reading, MA, and her sister Janet Simmons of Lynnfield, MA, and brother-in-law David Nealon, of Belmont, MA.
A Funeral Mass will be held for Ellen on Friday, October 29, 2021, at 11:30am at Saint Camillus Church, 1185 Concord Turnpike, Arlington, MA 02476.
