Sadly, we announce the passing of Keith Lee Kirby, he was 37 years young (6/29/84 – 10/2/21). Keith passed away suddenly on October 2, 2021 at his apartment home in Los Angeles. Keith was born in Ojai, California to John Kirby and Patricia Strahlman on June 29, 1984. He attended elementary and high school at Ojai Valley School, and graduated in 2002, he was currently enrolled business law at Pierce College in the Valley. He was an avid reader, he enjoyed physical fitness and a healthy diet. Keith loved spending time with his Mom during holidays and weekends, and with his dad watching sports and being with his pug Willie.
Keith is survived by his father John Kirby (Los Angeles), mother and step dad Patty & Steve McGillivray (Ojai), brother Kyle (Ventura) and Elizabeth (Ventura), his beloved girlfriend Rosie Lone Elk (Pasadena), Aunts Mary Lewis (Canyon Country), Patrice McGillivray (Dallas, Tx) and a large Strahlman family in Chicago. Keith will be missed by all.
Our hearts are deeply saddened by the loss of our Keith. Family and friends are invited to visiting hours to be held on Friday evening October 15, 2021 from 6 to 8pm in the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 757 E. Main Street Ventura, where a Most Holy Rosary will be recited at 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Saturday October 16, 2021 in St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church, 185 St. Thomas Drive Ojai, with Father Kirk Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Conejo Mountain Memorial Park, 2052 Howard Road, Camarillo.
