Gary P.Meola, 50, of 203 Bullard St. died Thursday, April 13, in the Hospice Residence at Coes Pond, Worcester.
He leaves his wife of 25 years, Morag E. (Gardner) Meola; two children, David R. Meola and Ashley E. Meola both of Holden; his parents, Carmine F. Meola, Sr. and Joan (Giangrande) Meola of Worcester; three sisters, Linda A. Warren of Worcester, Nancy and her husband Andy Mott of No. Oxford and Mary J. Meola-Harvey of Worcester; two brothers, Carmine F. Meola, Jr. of West Boylston and Andrew D. and his wife Becky Meola of No. Conway, NH; two grandchildren, Justin M. Meola and Kalli L. Donnelly both of Worcester and nieces and nephews. He was born in Worcester and graduated from Worcester Boys Trade School.
Gary was a traffic supervisor for Atlas Distributors in Auburn for 25 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and was a loving father, son, brother and grandfather.
The funeral will be held Saturday, April 15, from FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 1 W. Boylston St., W. Boylston with a Liturgy of the Word at 9:30am in Our Lady of Mount Carmel-St. Ann Church, 24 Mulberry St., Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Visiting hours are Friday, April 14, from 4 to 8pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, 01701.
