Marshall McFadden was a delightful, and kind son, brother, husband, friend, cousin and nephew. He was born on April 4, 1965 in Boston, MA, to the proud parents of Maxine McFadden and James Washington. He departed this life peacefully on September 20, 2021, at the age 56, due to cardiac failure.
Marshall married his longtime friend, and love, Kimmarie in 1989, who proceeded him in death in 2020. He attended English High School in Boston, MA. He was a lover of art and designing. While in school, he would often make his mother coffee mugs, artwork, and plaques, which were expressions of his profound love towards her. He continued his education and studied to become an electrician’s apprentice. Marshall enjoyed learning and sharing his discoveries, working as an electrician, or in the construction industry; which suited his desire to work with his hands, to build, and to problem solve. He worked as an electrician for many years.
Marshall’s smile was infectious, and he lived his life wanting to please those that he loved most. While this world was not easy on him, Marshall did not let it define his self-worth. He had a carefree and approachable personality, and enjoyed a simplified life filled with the love of his family and friends.
Marshall’s life was a living example of Ephesians 4:32 – “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”
Marshall McFadden will be lovingly remembered by his family, and longtime friends as well as, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Rest in power our dear son, brother, cousin and friend! Rest in power!
Memorial service will be held at Pentecostals of Boston, 1205 Hyde Park Ave, Hyde Park, Saturday October 16, 2021 from 10:00AM- 12:00 PM. Followed by a repast at 1:00 PM.
