Marguerite Graham Walker, 99, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Thursday, October 7, 2021, at Pine Point Hospice in Macon, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 2:30 PM, Sunday, October 10, 2021, at the First Baptist Church in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Charlie Solomon and Bishop Jerry Carver officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald, Georgia. The family will receive friends Saturday evening, from 6 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home in Fitzgerald, Georgia.
Mrs. Walker was born October 6, 1922, in Rose Hill, Virginia, to the late David & Effie Graham. She was a school teacher for the Irwin County School system. Mrs. Walker was a member of the First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Frank Walker of Cochran, two nieces: Vicky Graham of Ewing, Virginia and Roberta Chadwick of Tybee Island; and a nephew, Doug Graham of Ewing, Virginia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Payton Walker.
