Mary Ann Calvert, 82, of Yorktown, went home with Jesus Tuesday, October 5, 2021. She was born on October 8, 1938 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. She was a graduate of Fort Wayne Central High School.
Mary Ann retired from the Radiology Depart. at Ball Hospital in 1998,She also worked at Community Hospital in Anderson for several years prior. She attended most recently First Baptist Church of Alexandria with prior attendance at Tabor Baptist Church in Muncie.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading her Bible, camping, crafts, painting and crocheting.
She is survived by her children, Sherri (Bill) Marling, Debbie (Ron) Hall, Ronald Calvert, Brent (Carol) Calvert, Brian (Michelle) Calvert, Michael (Diane) Calvert, Glenn L. Calvert; 22 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn M. Calvert, parents; Stanley and Theodosia (Rydelkiewicz) Pokora, sisters; Virginia Yoder, Lillian Gater; brother; Alexander Pokora; granddaughter; Nichole Calvert.
Private family viewing at Rozelle –Johnson Funeral Service.
Private funeral services will be held at Elm Ridge Cemetery in Muncie Tuesday.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Mounds Park Woodland Pavilion at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, for family and friends.
