Catarina Lopes Andrade (87) of Taunton passed away October 6th at home under hospice care surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Jose Lopes Andrade.
She was born in Mosteiros, Fogo, Cape Verde daughter of the late Leopordo Lobo and Maria (Rodrigues) Lobo. Catarina enjoyed cleaning, cooking, telling stories to her family and socializing with her family and friends.
Catarina is survived by her son Jose Antonio Lopes of Taunton, her daughter Rosa Andrade of Brockton, 2 brothers, Jose Lobo of Cape Verde and Nicolau Lobo of Boston, 2 sisters, Nhalope Lobo and Bebe Lobo both of Taunton, 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street Brockton Monday October 11th from 4-7 pm. Funeral Services in the Funeral Home Tuesday October 12th at 12 noon. Viewing from 10 am prior to services. Burial to follow in Melrose Cemetery, 88 N Pearl Street Brockton.
