Patsy Marilyn Harnage Griffin, 77, of Nashville passed away Monday, October 5, 2021, at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta. A graveside funeral service will be held for Mrs. Griffin at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 9, 2021, at Westview Cemetery in Nashville, where she will be laid to rest. The Rev. Johnny Smith will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at Westview Cemetery in Nashville from 10:30 a.m. until the hour of the service.
Lexi Griffin, Billy Griffin, Allen Jackson and Peter Meyers will serve as pallbearers.
Born October 3, 1944, in Hahira, Mrs. Griffin was the daughter of the late George Harnage and Stancy Ray Harnage. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Eugene Griffin; one son, Elton Eugene Griffin; one daughter, Rhonda Griffin Boyd; two brothers, Henry Harnage and Howard Harnage; and four sister, Cindy Faulkner, Mary Thomas, Grace West and Betty Wilson. She was a homemaker and a member of Nashville Holiness Church. She was a great mother and grandmother and she was a gospel singer and a prayer warrior. She was loved by many.
Mrs. Griffin is survived by one son, Howard Griffin of Nashville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna Griffin Meyers and her husband Peter of Nashville and Marilyn Jackson Saunders and her husband Timothy of Norman Park; 13 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
