Robert (Bob) Lee Graves

Bob Graves, loving husband, father,and grandfather passed away on August 31,2021. After a long courageous battle, he
is now at peace. He was born in Ventura,Ca. on April 17,1947 to Claud and Lillie Graves. Bob grew up on Ventura Avenue
in a Christian home and in the house his father built. He went to Ventura High School and he drove a cool 57' Ford.

Following in his father's footsteps, Bob worked at Anacapa Construction for his father and with his brother Bruce. He began
as a laborer working his way up to a heavy equipment operator. (Operating Engineers Local 12)
Bob met Becky and 6 months later they were married in June,1968. After having their 2 daughters, Pam and Jenifer, Bob began
his own business. He became owner/operator of R.L. Graves Construction. He excelled in operating the motor grader and at times
was referred as "The Blade Man of Ventura County." Later Bob sold his business and worked for B.C. Rincon Construction.

Bob enjoyed camping with family and friends and going on Vegas/Laughlin trips. He and his best friend Jim Foster had great times
fishing on the Colorado River. His hobby was classic cars. Bob had fun driving his 32' Ford to car shows.

After retirement, Bob's health slowly declined. But through it all his strength and sweet spirit never faltered. Bob leaves behind
the love of his life, wife Becky of 53 years, daughters Pam Avitto (Son-in-law Pete) Jenifer Graves, granddaughters Samantha Avitto, Tiffany
Blanchette (Jon) great grandson Oliver Blanchette, brother Dwayne Graves (Linda) brother-in-law John Foster (Pam)
sister-in-law Jackie and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father Claud Graves, mother Lillie Graves and brother Bruce Graves

A memorial service will be held on October 2, 2021 at Boyko and Reardon Mortuary with Pastor Matt Hoyt of Orchard Community
Church officiating. Reception following at The Patrician Mobile home Park in Ventura.

My precious Bob, I cherish the many happy years we had together. This isn't good bye because I know I will be with you again
forever in Paradise. Rest my love. Your girl Becky.
