WORCESTER - Cathy Beando, 61, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday October 3rd, 2021 at her home with her loving family by her side.
Cathy was born on April 21, 1960 in Worcester, Massachusetts a daughter of the late Joseph “Fred” and Joan (Trapasso) Beando.
A lifelong resident, Cathy was a graduate of North High School. She later went on to work as a unit secretary at St Vincent Hospital for over 39 years.
Her greatest joy in life was spoiling her nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Cathy loved them as her own and was always involved in their everyday lives. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Cathy is survived by her sister, Jeanne Beando; three brothers, Joseph Beando and his wife Donna, Michael Beando and his wife Arlene, and William Beando and his wife Dawn; her nieces and nephews, Jessica, Bill, Joey, Amy, Stephanie, Danielle, Mikaela, Michelle, Shea, Matt, Shaynan, John, Jake, and Jillian; her great nieces, Alana and Kyra; and her great nephews, Marcelino and Juliano; and many cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass on Saturday October 9, 2021 at Our Lady of Loreto Church, 33 Massasoit Rd Worcester at 10:00am. Her visitation hours will be on Saturday morning October 9th from 8:00am to 9:30am at FAZIO FUNERAL HOME, 9 Branch Street Worcester, Ma. 01604. Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery in Worcester, Ma. For those attending, facial coverings are respectfully required and social distancing measures will be in place.
