Audrey Ann Zerbe-Haas, 81, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Sunday, October 3, 2021, at Life Care Center in Fitzgerald, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Thursday, October 7, 2021, at The Paulk Funeral Home, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Chuck Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, in Fitzgerald, Georgia. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, from 6 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Zerbe-Haas was born December 23, 1939, in Pennsylvania, to the late Charles Albert Jones, Sr. and Reba Mae Dengler Liddick. She was a certified nursing assistant and worked for local nursing homes. Mrs. Zerbe-Haas was a member of the Fitzgerald Church of God.
She is survived by her husband, Norman Haas of Fitzgerald; children: Sherry Ekdahl & Mark of South Bend, Indiana, Randy Hippensteel & Cheryl of Fitzgerald, Steven Hippensteel & Lynn of Tupelo, Mississippi, Belinda Culpepper & Jeff of Cussetta, and Hemmit Zerbe, II of Fitzgerald; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers: Richard Jones and Eddie Jones and a sister, Reba Bell, all of Pennsylvania. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hemmit Zerbe; son, Willis "Butch" Zerbe; two brothers: Chuck Jones and Wilbur Jones and a sister, Ruth Ann Jones.
