Rose T. Lokitis, age 84, of Norton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at the Life Care Center of Raynham.
Born in Norwood, MA on October 18, 1936, she was a loving daughter of the late Joseph A., Sr. and Mary J. (Ivoskus) Lokitis.
Rose spent her early childhood living in Canton. Her family later moved to Norton, where she grew up, was educated and graduated from Norton High School.
Rose had made her home in Norton for over seventy years and prior to retiring, had worked for ten years as a Records Keeper for the Norton Police Department.
A communicant of Saint Mary’s Church in Norton, Rose loved singing, spending time with family and throughout her life maintained a special love and place in her heart for the animals that frequented her home.
She was the dear sister of Michael Lokitis of Norton, Mary Wray of Virginia, Joan Borowicz of Belchertown, Leone Skamarakas of North Carolina, Diane Morse of North Attleboro, Katherine Lokitis of New Hampshire, Marianne Lokitis of New Bedford and the late David Lokitis and late Joseph Lokitis, Jr. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend her Funeral Mass, which will be celebrated on Monday, October 4th at 11:00 A.M. in Saint Mary’s Church, 1 Power Street in Norton. Burial will be held privately at a later date at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Canton.
