Christine R. (Belair) Belanger passed peacefully on Wednesday, September 29th at her home surrounded by family. Christine leaves behind her beloved husband of 36 years, Jeffrey Belanger. They were blessed with two children, Bryonny and her husband, Josh Torres, who blessed her with three grandchildren, James, Jeffrey, and Lola; a son, David Belanger, and his wife, Nancy (Tran) and their daughter, Margot. She also leaves two brothers, Stevan Belair and his wife Claudette, Wayne Belair, and his wife Dawn Belair; a sister, Ruth Ruiz- Norton, and her husband, Michael Norton. It was her honor to be called Aunty by so many nieces and nephews.
Christine was proud to be born and raised in Worcester; she was the daughter of Wilfred Belair Jr. and Barbara Eddy (Rudd) Belair.
She was a talented artist, loved Motown, gardening, trivia at Eller’s, and spending time with Jeff on the back of his Harley. Most of all Christine was proud of her grandchildren, who she nicknamed, Nibby, Squint, Princess, and Peanut. Nana will love you forever.
Funeral services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the JHC Hospice, 646 Salisbury Street, Worcester, MA 01609. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is assisting the family with arrangements.
