Edward J. Moriarty, 66, of Dartmouth, passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at St. Luke's Hospital. He was the son of the late Thomas C. and Estelle (Richard) Moriarty.
Eddy was born in New Bedford and had been a longtime resident of Westport. A veteran of the Vietnam War, he served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard. He enjoyed painting and the outdoors.
Survivors include his 2 brothers: Thomas C. Moriarty, Jr. of ME and Terence Moriarty of Assonet; 2 sisters: MaryJane Cummings of Taunton and Paula Moriarty of FL; along with 7 nephews.
Funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the Potter Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M..
Visitation will be Saturday from 10 - 11 A.M., prior to the service.
Interment will be in Our Lady of Fatima Cemetery, Little Compton.
