Adrian R. Kelley, 21, of Worcester died Sunday, September 19th in University of Pittsburgh Medical Center – Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh after a long illness. He leaves his mother, Sera (Hiltunen) Kelley of Worcester; his sister, Hannah Zacek of Worcester; his paternal grandmother, Patricia Kelley of Spartanburg, SC; his maternal grandparents, Robert Hiltunen of Worcester and Mary Jane Hiltunen of Westborough; his aunts and uncles, Benjamin Hiltunen, Jennifer Kelley, Erin Kelley, Sean Kelley and Patrick Kelley and several cousins.
He was born in Worcester the son of the late Timothy M. Kelley. Adrian graduated from South High School where he volunteered at Andy’s Attic. He recently graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Mathematics with a specialty in statistics and a minor in Economics. While at Boston University, Adrian was the President of the Stats Club and also spent his time tutoring and mentoring other students. He enjoyed watching football, basketball and running fantasy football leagues. Adrian loved animals and traveling, especially to the Great Smoky Mountains and the Blue Ridge Parkway.
His visitation will be held on Thursday, September 30th from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue followed by a service at 7:00 p.m. (masks will be required). Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
